Today was Saraya's first day at the Kindergarten Center. She has been very excited to start school. I like to be organized and since this is all new to me, I decided that picking out clothes every morning just wasn't going to work. I got a 6 shelf organizer that hangs on a closet pole. Saraya and I sat in her closet and picked out her outfits for every day. I really think this is going to work well. There was no scrambling this morning, no hunting for shoes, it was all right there. So I'm pretty happy about that. Saraya really wasn't that hard to get up either. I'm sure that won't be the case all school year.
We got there and she walked in very matter a factly. No hesitation. No tears. I'm so glad she's excited about it. It makes it so much easier to deal with. If she would've cried and not wanting me to leave the classroom, I think I would've just cried my eyes out. But that wasn't the case, so I was able to just hug and kiss her bye..... I did get a little choked up. Who wouldn't. :) Can't wait to see how it goes a week into it!
