All Dressed Up

Y.M.C.A.

A couple at our church had a halloween party at their house tonight. They really wanted the adults to dress up but we just couldn't come up with anything... until Thursday. I was up at church with Cristi working on a slideshow and we started talking about the party and things they thought about dressing up like. One thing lead to another and we got the greatest idea ever! The four of us would be the Village People!! We had to get our costumes together in barely two days which was tough but we made it. Jake was the cowboy, Cristi was the policeman, I was the biker and James was the construction worker. It was fun to dress up and it was really fun to do it with another couple.

Mystery Solved!!

The long awaited mystery of Saraya's costume can now be revealed...... WONDER WOMAN! And let me tell ya, she makes the cutest one ever!!! She's been very excited about dressing up in it.

Post Photo Shoot

Tonight I had a baby's photo shoot and when we were done, of course Saraya asked, "Mommy, are you going to take my picture now?" How can I resist taking pictures of my cutest little thing, so of course I snapped a few. She did these poses on her own and I thought they were so cute I thought I'd share.

It's the Great Pumpkin, Charlie Brown

Yesterday we had a church outing... to Pumpkin Hollow and then to some friends house for games, candy, food and fun! We painted pumpkins and Saraya had to have complete control! She picked the color and did it all! The first picture is of course while she was painting and the second is the finished project!! It will be proudly displayed as a fall decoration all month. The third picture if of Saraya and Ty. Ty is one of Saraya's favorite friends. They were being really funny and kept wanting me to take pictures of them.... silly faces, with candy in their mouths.... I spared you all of those and put a cute one up.

Good times.... good times....

Last night, Chris, Abbie and Mia dropped by to hang out for a little bit and get in the hot tub. Ahhhh.... that is the best part about the weather starting to change. It's hot tub time! Saraya loved getting in with friends. I couldn't resist taking a few pictures.

Practice Makes Perfect

One good thing about Saraya's name is the fact that there are three a's in it. Not as many letters to learn!! She's been practicing a lot lately and she loves that she can write letters. The y was hard for her. She still doesn't really get it. I have to talk her through it. :-) But it's getting better every day!! Ray's at work with me today so we started writing her name over and over. I thought I'd scan one of the good ones.

Improvement

I know that her head is still touching the ground, and I know that her arms really aren't that straight, but it's still such an improvement from when she first started her tumbling class. Saraya loves her class... and her teacher, Ms. Felicia. Saraya gets better and better each week, and in between her Thursday classes, she holds her own class in our living room nightly. This is a picture of her 'bridge up'. Praise Band practice was cancelled tonight at the last minute so I was able to go to her class and watch. It's amazing how much more she knows now. She's not a pro.... but she's on her way to be!!!!
